The under 2's room is specifically used for the under 2 year olds. Babies are accepted from birth. The under 2's room consists of natural materials wherever possible, heuristic play and messy play. The under 2's will access the outdoors as much as possible during the session. Ratios will be enhanced during certain outdoor activities to ensure that health and safety is fully met.

We follow home routines for our Under 2's to ensure consistency between home and the setting. All staff are trained in Safer Sleep methods and all children have their sleep time in cots. All staff are Paediatric First Aid trained. Our home cooked meals are all prepared on site and are at the consistency appropriate to each child's development - pureed, finger food, etc.
