At Rascals Natural Learning we combine knowledge of multiple learning theories to create an inspirational, hands on learning environment that provides experiences supporting deeper levels of learning.
We have a learner centred approach that fosters creativity, independence and resilience through challenge, choice, risk taking and positive relationships.
Learners have the chance to achieve, problem solve and explore nature whilst taking part in hands on activities.
We strive to ensure that all children are happy and feel safe and secure.
Rascals Natural Learning offer home cooked meals, freshly prepared and cooked on the premises. Staff hold food hygiene and paediatric first aid certificates. We offer pre-start visits to help your child to settle in, we invite you to join us with your child to attend sessions at your convenience.
For our Over 2 Year Olds, as well as our Outdoor Learning Provision, we also offer an Indoor Learning Provision. This ensures that all children can access our setting and the resources we offer. Children that use this option, will access our outdoor provision at various times of the day but will not participate with the Forest School activities, instead they go into our large indoor space to carry on with various activities. We offer flexible hours for our Indoor Learning Provision.
Rascals Natural Learning is an Equal Opportunities setting and no individual child or family will be excluded on the grounds of gender, age, sexuality, disability, family status, ethnic origin, religion or beliefs.
