The children all helped to collect lots of sticks to use, choosing them based on length and thickness. They then took turns using the hand drill to create a hole at the top of some of them.

 

They threaded through string and the older children practiced tying knots to secure each chime. Then came the decorating! We had lots of fun painting them in our favourite colours!
